OPTITUNE SYSTEM

The Optitune system has been designed to provide a user-friendly process for optimised combustion of wood waste fired boilers. The system provides a solution that is designed to control the fuel / air ratio to maximise the optimum combustion in the furnace at all times. An oxygen sensing transmitter relays the residual oxygen content of the flue gases to a PLC.

Once the PLC receives the oxygen data it compares it to the oxygen set point provided by the operator and calculates the solution required to provide the fuel feed and force draft air flow fed into the furnace, reducing black smoke emissions and increasing furnace efficiency.
