AE 3D EDGER OUTFEED VERIFICATION SCANNER

The AE Outfeed verification scanner is a lineal 3D scanner that is located over the Edger outfeed prior to the Picker finger's.

The scanner does a lineal scan of the board height and width as it leaves the Edger and checks for board separation due to spring.

The concept ensures correct Picker fingers are selected to prevent or significantly reduce good wood going to waste or waste being sent to the mill outfeed transfer.
